Learning

Well, not much going on around here. I have several books I am reading and doing internet research as much as I can. I did learn something very interesting. My sister-in-law is also very interested in the paranormal! I am delving into this further, but she did show interest in hunting. I have a couple of books on ghost hunting that I am reading, very intersting stuff. I also have a book on ghosts and sprits, an encyclopedia and it has some great information that I know I will need. Ill be setting up some photos of what I have so far, but some family pics just for fun. Have it up in a couple of days.

Learning

Now that I have extended my interest in the paranormal, the search for educational information begins. There is alot of information on the web, but I also found some books that I am very interested in. Its amazing how many books are out there! We are back home from the honeymoon and I am ready to delve into learning as much as I can. I am so excited! I am wanting to find a group that I can associate with in regards to learning more and going on hunts when I am ready. I will soon be attaching photos of the hotel we visited.

First Experiences

My first experience with the paranormal was between two hotels in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The Basin Hotel, was in a random group of thirty, was crowded, hot, and tiresome. I think I expected too much. I was so excited that it was a huge let down. Now, please understand, I know each time I am looking, I will not find anything. I just wanted it so badly!!!! The tour was a great story of the town and the stories were great. I just felt there was too much negative energy and not enough believers in the group.

Now, when we went to the Crescent Hotel, in Eureka Springs, that was TOTALLY different. The tour guides were great! We were in a group of five. The tour guides truly believed there were out of bodies in the hotel and had personal experiences to tell. On the second floor of the hotel, in certain areas I felt uneasy and slightly upset to my stomach. But the greatest experience was on the third floor. As we were listening to the experiences of hotel guests and getting a lesson on the hotel. I was overwhelmed with the smell of roses. I was quiet through the end of that discussion, but when we were moving, I turned to my husband and asked if he smelled anything. He didnt answer, but stated that all of a sudden our video camera battery was dead (had lots of battery just a few minutes before) From my beginner lessons, I know that the out of bodies can draw from our energy and will pull from batteries sometimes. So we walked to another section and I told the guide that I smelled something that just hit me at that other end of the hall. I couldnt put my finger on it, but knew that it was so strong that I could taste it. Whatever brought the smell, it seemed to be right on top of me. When I mentioned that, one of the ladies on the tour said, "oh, I thought that was you". I explained that it wasnt. The guide asked what kind of smell, I said I wasnt sure but it was strong, sort of sweet, but not candy or anything. He asked if it was roses. I said "YES!" He then explained that a victorian ghost woman used to wear rose water and people could smell it when she was in the room. I was blown away. As we went into the morgue of the hotel, (it used to be a hospital) I had an uneasy feeling and could sense sadness, but had no major experiences.

Now, later that night, my husband and I went back to our cottage and uploaded the photos we took. In several there were orbs, but with further investigations, we realized that it could be easily explained away. So, for the first experience it was a great personal experience but I had no photographic proof. I am saddened, BUT, I would only want to show unexplained proof.

Hopefully my next adventure will be soon....until then...I am studying and working on meditation to help me open my mind for more experiences and hopefully some communication with out of bodies that we may encounter.
